About the Role

The Community Action Agency Early Childhood Program is currently accepting  applications for the following position: Full-time (40) Teacher in Delta County.


An Associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education or equivalent  coursework is required. 

A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or a Bachelor’s degree in  Elementary Education with a valid Michigan 

Teaching Certificate and 18 credits in Early  Childhood is preferred. 


Entry wage is $19.16 – $24.57 depending on experience.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• An associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education or equivalent coursework is required.

• A bachelor’s degree in early childhood or a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and 18 credits in Early Childhood is preferred.

• Experience working in an educational or childcare setting required.

• Experience working with preschool children and/or Head Start/Early Head Start preferred.



REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office and other software programs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Adhere to strict client confidentiality.

• Submit to criminal background check.
