MDSCAA's Adult Day Services are geared to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer's and other dementias. The program provides socialization, activities, and a caring staff. ADS is based out of the Escanaba Senior Center.
Service Features
ADS employs a fully trained, patient, caring and loving staff who strive to enhance the abilities of the Alzheimer's participant and encourages their independence in activities. We offer an opportunity for positive interaction and socialization for all participants.

Activities include:
Singing, reminiscence therapy, art projects, exercise, holiday/birthday celebrations, puzzle/word searches, outings into the community, as well as having guest speakers and musicians on occasion.
The target population is individuals of any age that have been diagnosed with any form of dementia. Our Adult Day Program offers the participant an opportunity to be active in the community and allows respite time for caregivers.

The main requirement for participation is having a diagnosis of a dementia.
