UPCAP - UPCAP’s purpose and objectives are to promote the development of the human, social, and community resources of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
2-1-1 - Michigan 211 is an easy way to find help of all kinds, right in your community. Need help with food, housing, or paying bills? Need support in a family crisis or community disaster? They’re here for you. Any time. All the time. Just call, text, or search online and they’ll get you connected.
CapTel Telephone - A telephone that displays conversations as text. Those with hearing loss are eligble to receive one for free.
Non-Emergency Medical Transport - Whether it’s a doctor’s visit in Green Bay, a specialist in Milwaukee, or a check-up in Marquette—Delta Area Transit Authority (DATA) is here to help. Their Non-Emergency Medical Transportation service is designed to connect you to the care you need, even when it’s outside your local area.
Feeding America - This website allows you to search for food pantries by county (providing schedules, locations and eligibility information) as well as the mobile food pantry schedule.
St. Vincent de Paul - The Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA harnesses the power of community and partnerships to feed, clothe, house and heal individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. From rental assistance and homelessness prevention to thrift stores and food pantries, to disaster recovery and charitable pharmacies, they share their time and treasure with those who need help and hope. Salvation Army - The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization and registered charity that provides a wide range of social services to people in need. They offer emergency assistance including food pantries, shelter programs, disaster relief, and utility assistance, as well as longer-term support through rehabilitation programs, job training, and youth services. With locations in communities across the country, the Salvation Army serves millions of people annually regardless of background or belief.

Lifeline via SafeLink - Lifeline is a federally-sponsored program that provides a discount on cell phones and their service costs to eligible individuals and families. Eligibility is determined by income and/or participation in state or Federal support programs. Through Lifeline, SafeLink subscribers are eligible to receive a mobile phone and a monthly discount on their service (in some cases, up to 100%). SafeLink benefits are limited to one line per household.
Catholic Social Services of the UP - Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula (CSSUP) has served individuals and families across the U.P. since 1952, offering programs rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church. Their services include behavioral health, child welfare, and recovery housing, with offices in Marquette, Escanaba, and Iron Mountain.
