MDSCAA is excited to sponsor the Community Action Agency - Wellness Fair at the UP State Fair! It will be taking place on Senior Citizens Day - Wednesday, August 19th from 11am-2pm, with door prizes given away at 2:15pm!


Lunch will be served at Noon and includes:

  • Chicken Taco Salad

  • Corn & Black Beans

  • Fruited Pudding

  • Milk

The suggested donation is $4.50 for those 60 and above, $7 for those 59 and younger. Please call 906-786-8850 to reserve your meal before Monday, August 17th!


As a reminder - Admission to the UP State Fair for seniors aged 65 and older is discounted to $5 on Senior Citizen Day.

Wellness Fair

Wednesday, August 19 under the Grandstands at the U.P. State Fairgrounds

11:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Prizes are drawn at 2:15 p.m.

Visit and talk with vendors about their services.

There will be door prizes given away for those who visit our vendor tables and have them sign the sheet for verification.

We will be serving a lunch at 12 noon of Chicken Taco Salad, Corn & Black Beans, Fruited Pudding, Milk.

The suggested donation is $4.50 for those over 60. Under 60 the cost is $7.00.
