Welcome Newborns

Welcome Newborns supports families across Menominee, Delta, and Schoolcraft Counties by connecting parents of newborns (or those expecting) with resources right from the start. Enrolled families receive a tote bag of child development materials and a free monthly parenting newsletter delivered to their home. Face-to-face visits cover essential topics like SIDS risk prevention, safe sleep practices, and child abuse prevention — with special attention given to teen parents navigating this new chapter. Best of all, the program is open to any resident of Menominee, Delta or Schoolcraft county with a newborn, regardless of income or where their baby was delivered
